mola, al estilo OS X. los sistemas de gestion de paquetes son necesarios para mantener un sistema optimizado pero hay veces que por problemas de dependecias aveces no podemos instalar un programa a la primera, es ahí donde la posibilidad de instalar un programa en un directorio individual seria muy útil. de hecho seria genial que todas las distribuciones ofrecieran esta posibilidad para estos casos.

Interesante, mi gran pregunta es ¿todo esto ha sido previamente planeado? o se les ocurre en el camino, porque se pueden tener grandes ideas, pero creo que se estan recargando demasiado la agenda… Aunque no han puesto fecha, ojala que no esten generando demasiada expectativa para algo que no van a poder realizar (o que no sera tan genial como hacen parecer)

Ya es costumbre de Canonical marcarse objetivos más altos de lo que se pueden permitir. No obstante, si van a por los tablets y smartphones quizás sea necesario implementar estos cambios tarde o temprano.

Menos pensar en la retrocompatibilidad con sistemas anteriores cualquier cosa, por que no he encontrado versión nueva de Ubuntu que no me rompa algo que con la anterior funcionaba.

Todo lo que sea mejorar la experiencia del usuario me parece buena idea y servirá para popularizar el sistema operativo.

Un paso más a la diferenciación e independización de Ubuntu frente a linux.
No se que pensar a verdad, poco a poco dicen que no les vale nada de la comunidad y crean u propio.
A donde nos llevara esto…

Lo que yo he entendido, es que se podrán instalar de las dos formas, la «friki» que a la gente como yo nos trae de cabeza andar buscando dependencias para que funcione bien un programa, y la pensada en nosotros, que si queremos usar el programa, se nos instale todo lo que necesita el programa en su misma carpeta (aunque esto pueda incluir redundancias de archivos) pero que a la hora de desinstalar, eliminar todo lo que necesitaba dicho programa, no como ahora, que voy a desinstalar «un» y me pregunta que si quiero desinstalar no se que dependencia que esta siendo usada por «otro» programa pero que la instalé despues del «otro» porque quería que funcionase no se que del «un». Eso lo odio del windows y lo odio del linux, el depender de archivos en otras carpetas para que funcione un programa en particular.

Lo que no entendí si lo iban a liberar para otras distros el CP (Click Packages, veste ya espesamos con las abreviaturas) a o solo quedara para Ubuntu y UT OS (Ubuntu Touch/Táctil). Ademas, las distros que se basan en Ubuntu, ¿podrán tener su alter-ego como como UT OS? como decirte, Mint y su Mint Touch OS.

Me explico, para los que nos estamos iniciando en linux como alternativa a windows es un fastidio instalar un programa irlo a ejecutar y que aparezca el mensajito de «no está instalado el paquete noseque para usar esta función». Por Dios ¡quiero usar un programa con todas sus características sin preocuparme de tener que andar buscando y descargando dependencias paquetes (o como los linuxeros los llameis) antes de poder ejecutar el programa que quiero. Si hacen un ejecutable tipo windows con la filosofía de linux, fenomenal, todos los archivos que necesite el programa en la misma carpeta, no como el windows que instalas algo y te mete archivos por todos lados
